Bank credit cardholders were to be able to make purchases of up to BRL100 (US$55.44) by tapping their phones. It was unclear whether the trial has launched with the new ZTE R33 NFC phone that supports SIM applications and the single-wire protocol or made due with a Nokia NFC phone until the ZTE was ready.
