NFC TIMES Exclusive Insight – A survey conducted by American Express suggests that U.S. merchants could increase their online sales by taking steps to enhance the security of customers' information.
The American Express Digital Payments Survey, which interviewed over 1,000 consumers and 400 merchants, shows that more merchants and consumers are adopting online and mobile shopping in the U.S.
According to the survey, nine in 10 consumers reported making at least one online purchase in the past 12 months, while 71% of merchants report an increase in annual sales generated through online and mobile channels.
